We recently had the pleasure of catching up with @ChloePatton, who shares her gorgeous home with her family. Chloe was looking for a practical, child-safe blind solution and chose our Motorised Roller Blind for both style and child safety. We chatted with Chloe about her beautiful home, her new blinds, and her approach to interior design!
How would you describe your interior style?
“I would describe my interior style as a cosy cottage vibe with a modern twist. I love creating warm, welcoming spaces filled with character, think soft textures, natural wood accents, and vintage touches.”
What is a commonly overlooked but an essential staple for your home?
“One commonly overlooked yet essential staple in our home is a beautiful vase. There’s just something about a thoughtfully chosen vase holding a fresh bouquet that instantly brings life and warmth into a space. For me, it completes the kitchen.“

What are your next plans for your home?
“Our plans for the house have taken a bit of a turn recently—and for the most exciting reason! We’ve shifted our focus completely, and our top priority now is creating a nursery. ”
Why did you choose Motorised Blinds?
“I chose motorised blinds for our living room because I loved the idea of combining convenience with style. With just the click of a remote, we can easily control our privacy and the amount of light coming in—no more fiddling with cords or chains. What’s even better is that we can programme them to open and close at set times, which makes life so much easier.”

What difference has having Motorised Blinds made to day to day life?
“Having motorised blinds has honestly made such a difference to our day-to-day routine. Our sofa sits right in front of the window, so before, it was always a bit of a hassle having to climb over it just to open or close the blinds. “

What’s your favourite season and would you say this season is reflected in your interior style?
“I think my favourite season for the home has to be winter. There’s just something so comforting about those colder months, when the Christmas decorations come out, the fairy lights go up, and everything feels warm and inviting.”
What are your top tips for someone wanting to make a house a home?
“For me, it’s all about the little things—those finishing touches that really bring a space to life. Fresh flowers instantly add colour, scent, and a sense of calm, while lighting a few candles creates that warm, cosy atmosphere that makes a house feel like a true home.”
If you had £10,000 to spend on a piece of furniture or interior design, what would it be and why?
“If I had £10,000 to spend on furniture or interior design, I would absolutely love to create the ultimate playroom for the children, especially with a new little one on the way!”
Where do you get home inspiration from?
“I get most of my home inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest—I could scroll for hours looking at beautiful interiors, clever styling tips, and creative DIY ideas. But if I’m honest, one of my earliest and most heartfelt sources of inspiration came from watching The Holiday when I was younger. I remember being completely enchanted by that cosy English cottage with the double front, it became my dream home aesthetic.”
