When installing your No drill Roller Blind, you need to ensure that the surface you are fixing to is solid and secure enough to hold the blind. Please also ensure the surface you are installing onto is completely flat with no ridges so that the mechanism can fully engage.
Sometimes plasterboard and other materials can unfortunately have no solid surface behind it, meaning it will not have adequate strength to hold the blind.
Securely hold the blind, then turn the tightening wheel to release it. Turn away from yourself if the wheel is on your left, and towards yourself if it’s on your right. Take care when doing so and it may be helpful to have another pair of hands helping too!
The actual fabric width of your blind will be 35mm narrower than the overall width you provide. This is to allow for the operating mechanism and so the blind move freely.
No Drill Roller Blinds require no drilling or screwing with a friction based installation. This means these blinds are can only be installed inside the recess.
The wrap around bottom bar, is the most desired option across the Blinds industry, as it gives a seamless look without any sewing lines or “pin pricks” across the fabric. You may ask why do other competitors use the “Open Sew Pocket”? Quite simply, it is the cheapest and quickest method of manufacture – we believe in quality and therefore do not use this method.
The “Standard Roll” option means the fabric will roll from the back of the tube, closer to the glass. This brings benefits such as better thermal retention and light reflection (particularly useful for blackout fabrics!).
The “Reverse Roll” option does just the opposite, meaning the fabric will roll from the front of the tube, away from the glass. This is beneficial if there are window handles to clear, and usually a preferred option for creating the seamless look.
